A Fresh Perspective

In the spirit of not being such a control freak and letting my children learn how to express themselves and explore the world around them, I let Kimball take over my camera a few times on our recent road trip. (Sadly, I do have to make the conscious choice to not be a control freak!) Here are some of his shots:

For the pictures of the temple, he laid down on the ground! People were walking around him and chuckling at the young photographer, willing to do whatever it took for the right shot:)

Not bad for a 10 year old. I should let him take over more often.

Seriously great photos, Kimball! Good focus, well-composed and taken from cool perspectives, you have a natural talent! :)

Great pictures! He did a great job. That first temple pic is really nice. You could blow it up and frame it.
We'll be up in SLC in a week. We should have coordinated our schedules and met up there!

I especially love the temple square pics...both the temple and the flowers. And how could he miss with such beautiful models in his sisters and cousin.

Great job, Kimball!!

Wowza - he has a serious talent there! I especially love the shot of the temple with the clouds centered above. Made me dizzy but in a good way.

In an effort to not be a control freak- I am letting Ethan have a Mario backpack. Look how far I've come... The temple shot is really quite good!

I love them! He did a great job.
I like to let the boys use the camera, but since mine was broken one time when Ned was using it I have been a little less willing.
