Blueberry Muffins
In a medium bowl stir and toss together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside. In another medium bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and eggs until smooth. Add liquid to the dry ingredients and stir until just blended. Add the blueberries and stir just until evenly incorporated. Spoon into prepared muffin tins. Bake until a toothpick comes out clean, about 15-20 minutes. Eat the moment they won't burn your tongue, with or without butter.

I have that book and, YES, those muffins are yummy!
In fact, my husbands favorite store is Williams-Sonoma so we have about six of their cookbooks.
Thank you. Now I am hungry and I have no blueberries. I wonder what kind of damage I could do with frozen blackberries... thanks for the recipe.
I went back and read your "Blueberries stop time" post. HILARIOUS! Your kids sound so cute!
I just made blueberry thumbprint cookies yesterday, and they are all gone today. Instead of using jam in the thumbprint, I made the filling for blueberry cobbler and put that in the filling. I ate 6 of them for breakfast. But I figure the amazing health value of blueberries out-weighed the unhealthyness of eating a cookie for breakfast, right?
OH MY GOSH
So how long has it been since we saw you guys? I CAN'T BELIEVE that picture of Bronwen!!! Curls, long hair, she looks all grown up!! Wow.
That threw me for a complete loop.
Thanks for the pics...I'm with Aly sun- -wish I'd bought those blueberries at the grocery store today.
With a tablespoon of sugar in each muffin they are bound to be a favorite for everyone!
I loved the close up pictures of your kids enjoying the muffins. I was on a muffin kick about a month ago, it was delicious.
Oh boy! I'm thrilled that I have frozen blueberries in my freezer so I can whip these babies up. Yum-o!!
I love Bronwen's curls. I'll take those and a blueberry muffin to go, please.
Oh my! I need some of those!
Cute pictures of the kids. They are all getting so big.
YUMMMM!!!! I totally want some of those now!
This post reminds me of a fun story from our family...
My niece, Aubrey, was 4 when her great-grandfather had gone in for gall-bladder surgery. Everyone was praying for him to heal quickly, and he did.
When he returned from the hospital, Aubrey asked him, "Why were you sick?"
"They had to take something out of my stomach," he said.
Her eyes grew wide and she asked with a gasp, "Was it BLUEBERRIES??!?"
(p.s. ...trying Alli's fondant recipe for the first time tonight. Can't wait!)
I am right there with you ... I prefer blueberry muffins without the blueberries, though :) !!
yum! i love berries! in my salads and cereal! and those muffins look delish!
Those muffins look fabulous. I will have to try them. How have you been? How are you feeling? I feel like I have dropped off the face of the earth and am just now crawling back over the edge again!
