The crew of helpers that responded to Facebook and email requests in a matter of minutes had the sod laid out in 30 minutes, during which I was feeding the baby, so no photos of that. But our second crew (family and one buddy) are now cutting and perfecting the look. After nearly six years of dirt and weeds in the backyard, things are looking up!

I think four years with dirt (red dirt!) has been bad, but it will probably also end up being six for us before we get sod.
